Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information, including our text messaging program.

This policy explains what information The Whole Bowl collects when you order from us or use our website, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to thewholebowl.ca, order.thewholebowl.ca, and our meal prep ordering site.

Information We Collect

  • Contact details you give us when you order, sign up, or reach out: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address if you have food delivered.
  • Order details: what you ordered, when, and basic payment information. We don't see or store your full card number, our payment processor Square handles that directly.
  • Basic site usage information collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, so we can see what's working on the site and fix what isn't.

How We Use Your Information

  • To take and prepare your order, process payment, and reach you about pickup or delivery.
  • To send you a receipt, and, if you've opted in, updates about your order or occasional menu reminders.
  • To improve our menu, our site, and how we run the business, based on what people actually order.

Text Messages

If you give us your mobile number and ask us to text you, we use it to send you delivery updates about your own orders and, if you opted in to them, weekly reminders that our menu is live and that ordering is about to close.

We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share it only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf, and only so that they can deliver them.

You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to any text from us. Reply HELP to any text for help. Message frequency is approximately one to two messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

If you want your number removed from our records entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email Info@TheWholeBowl.ca and we will delete it.

How We Share Information

We don't sell your personal information, full stop. We share it only with the services that help us actually run the business, and only so they can do the specific job we've hired them for:

  • Square, to process card payments.
  • Our ordering and delivery platforms, to get your food to you.
  • Our messaging provider, to deliver the text messages described above.

We may also share information if required by law.

Your Choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe from our texting program at any time.
  • Email Info@TheWholeBowl.ca to ask what information we have on file, correct it, or have it deleted.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this page as our business changes. The version posted here is always the current one.
