Weight loss meal prep in Surrey comes down to two things you have to get right every day: eating a little less than you burn, and getting enough protein while you do it. The hard part isn't knowing that. It's doing it on a Tuesday when you're tired and the fridge is empty. That's the problem meal prep solves, and here's how to use ours for it.

What Actually Drives Weight Loss

Weight loss happens when you take in fewer calories than your body uses, consistently, over weeks. No single food causes it and no single meal ruins it. What matters is the total, day after day.

Protein matters too. When you're eating less, a higher share of protein helps you stay full and helps hold on to muscle while the scale comes down. If you want the numbers for your own body, our guides on how to calculate your macros and how much protein you need walk through it step by step.

The catch is that both of those depend on knowing what's on your plate. Most people underestimate what they eat, especially with sauces, oils and portions that drift up over time. That's where most weight loss plans quietly fall apart.

Why Meal Prep Makes It Easier

Every meal on our meal prep menu lists its calories, protein, carbs and fat. You're not guessing at a portion or a splash of dressing. You pick the meals that fit your day, and the numbers are already done.

The Low Carb menu and the entrees tend to sit lower in calories while keeping the protein up, and Custom Meals let you pick your own protein, carb and veg. Check the numbers on each meal when you order, since the menu changes through the year.

How to Set Up a Week for Weight Loss

Start with your numbers. Work out a daily calorie target and a protein target first. Everything else is built around those two.

Cover the meals you struggle with. Most people don't need every meal prepped. If lunch at work and dinner after a long day are where things go off track, start there.

Use the numbers on each meal. Pick the meals that fit your calorie and protein targets for the day, and swap in lighter ones on days you need more room.

Plan around fresh. Our meals are cooked on the day you pick up or get delivery, and they're best within four days. That's why we prep twice a week, Sunday and Wednesday, so you're never eating day-six leftovers.

If you're deciding between building muscle and losing weight, our post on what to order for muscle building vs weight loss shows how the same menu works for either goal.

The Short Version
